A techie, a product guy and a content creator walked into a bar and cribbed about how difficult it was to create short-form videos.
Why should creating a one-minute story require one producer, one video-editor, and one person creating graphics? And why was there always one person whose only job seemed to be to occasionally confirm that "the file is rendering and it will be ready in half an hour".
Why should we be using the same software and workflow to create short clips, that are being used to edit full-length feature films! It made no sense to them.
By the time the techie, the product guy and the content creator had stumbled out of the bar, they had decided to make life easier for every storyteller who wanted a simple, no-frills tool to create videos.
